Finally, After two years of uncertainty and postponements, the first edition of the SunIce Festival took place from 01 to 03 April 2022 and was a huge success. Over 10,000 visitors, parties until dawn, outstanding artists who made the Dome buzz and good vibes through and through – this was SunIce Festival 2022.
A successful premiere
On the last winter weekend of this year, the SunIce Festival came alive in St. Moritz and brought the 21/22 ski season to a loud close. Thankfully, during the last days before the festival it snowed again on Salastrains and the Engadine mountains became a winter wonderland again - shortly before the start of spring. However, this fresh snow melted away very quickly, and not only because of the weather, which became steadily sunnier during the course of the festival. No, the reason were the numerous local and international DJs who made the crowds sweat on a total of 4 stages. The SunIce Festival 2022 featured Alan Walker, Charlotte de Witte, Claptone, Deborah de Luca, Lost Frequencies and Mike Williams - just to name a few.
More than music
In addition to these musical gems, guests at the SunIce Festival 2022 could also enjoy various winter sports activities. A snow quad track was set up right next to the Village, where visitors could have a good time. In addition, others explored the Corviglia ski area or even took a paragliding flight to sail over the Dome. The successful Swiss artist Ona Sadkowsky also provided an extra highlight on-site. During two days of the event, the young painter created an art piece in a live performance that artistically depicts the festival in the mountains and captures the SunIce lifestyle experience. This unique painting is currently being auctioned off on our website, with half of the proceeds being donated to the SRK Ukraine.
See you in 2023
